My World

My world is largely made up of my Mum, my Dad and my sister, Heather.  Mum is generally OK - not too strict, not too soppy - but sometimes, because she has an awful lot of work to do at the moment, she gets in a really foul mood.  Dad, we don't see a lot, because he has to work on the farm, but it makes our holidays more special because they're so different from normal.

I spend a lot of time with Heather.  The most annoying thing that she does is play her cheerful S Club 7 music whenever I'm in a really grim mood.  She doesn't do it on purpose - and I wouldn't blame her if she did really, because I annoy her heaps!

The cats are also a big part of my world.  Our family's been through a lot of pets - Flopsy, Mopsy and Cottontail (they were rabbits, and they escaped from their run and ran off), Gina (Heather's guinea pig), Thumper (another rabbit), and Pongo (my rat, who died of bronchitis).  The cats, Punch and Judy, are the longest lasting pets we have had, except for Candy, and before them, we had Dusty and Smudge.  Tim is the newest addition to the family, and his favourite pastimes are chewing up any balls that we leave lying around in the garden, and herding the cows and sheep (at which he is very good, if a little over enthusiastic!)

I'm coming up to my GCSEs at school now (that's like O-levels, in case you didn't know) and so we're all working hard in class.  Well, we are most of the time, anyway!  But all work and no play makes Jack a dull boy, so me and my mates make sure that find time for fun!  We've been on our trip to Spain (it was ages ago now!) and had a fantastic time.  At the weekends, we sometimes go into town, and go ice-skating, to the cinema, or just for a good old shopping session.  We also have sleepovers and parties at each other's houses.

When I'm not with my mates, I spend my time doing homework, watching TV, or reading and listening to music.  Sometimes I go for walks - often down to the river, where my friends and I like to camp.  We're planning to go again this year, so fingers crossed that it's a dry, sunny summer!

Recently, I've been in the school play, which was good fun.  It was exhausting going to all the rehearsals, but now they're over, I haven't got much to do.  That's why the website has FINALLY been updated.  If anyone can think of other stuff I could put on, please email me
