K'nex - A popular, colourful building kit.  I have made a Ball Factory, and now I'm making a deep sea oil rig with helicopter and tanker ship.

Real Robots - This is a magazine which comes out every month. In each issue you get some more parts to make your own robot called Cybot. By issue 4 it can move forwards and eventually it will be remote controlled. Mum hopes one day it will do the housework!

            It would be nice if Cybot would just tidy up the screwdrivers etc - Mum

 

Issue 4

Cybot has its wheels and can move forwards only.  The front bumper is an important design feature at this stage!
Issue 6

I have installed the next bit of electronic wizardry, which you can't see, but you can admire the cool blue windshields.
